Friday is going to be Activity Day!! Join us in the Frankfort area for a day of golfing, bike riding, sunset on the beach, and plenty of other activities for everyone involved.

Update:
Please CALL Harbor Lights to make your reservations as soon as possible. We want everyone to be able to get a spot and the rooms/condos are now available (as of June 1st) to the public as well. Please tell them that you are part of the Randall-Schultz wedding party.

We hope that you can join us for the whole 3 day weekend! Your stay will be easy and beautiful because Harbor Lights Resort is expecting you. Please visit their website for information and call them when you are ready to book - we have enough hotel rooms, suites and condos blocked off for our entire guest list for 2 night stays. Ask for Steve if you have any questions about the local area or the resort; he has been a HUGE help to us and we love him! If you are looking for other accommodations, or one night stays, here is an awesome site from the Frankfort-Elberta Chamber of Commerce. Some of the Inns and B&B’s look amazing!

Nick’s dad, Marc Schultz, who is an avid golfer would love for you to join him for a BEAUTIFUL morning of golf, camaraderie and breathtaking views. We are still trying to decide where the golf scramble will be because there are many factors such as availability and pricing. The courses that we are currently looking at are Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course which is ranked the #7 course in the U.S. by Golf World Magazine, and Champion Hill and Pinecroft which are distinguished by their scenic, open, rolling, heather lined fairways, large contoured greens and distant views of Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, and Platte Lakes. Marc will be contacting those of you who RSVP with interest in golfing to make final plans. Expert or novice golfer, you will not regret this experience!

There are many, many wonderful places to find a great meal in the Arcadia, Elberta and Frankfort areas. We want you to explore the local cuisine and watering holes. Please check out our Local Info page for lots of suggestions!

After everyone gets to explore and find a great place for lunch, we will be hosting activities at and around Harbor Lights Resort. For those of you who would like to explore the area a little more, we’ll also be available as your tour guides to give you excursion suggestions. We may even provide a scavenger hunt for you if you’re interested, just let us know! Check out our Proposal page for a better idea of what i’m talking about.

Harbor Lights has a large sandy beach area available for our whole party. There are beach volleyball courts, an indoor pool and spa, picnic area with grills and picnic tables, and of course, swimming in Lake Michigan. All of downtown Frankfort is within walking distance from the resort!

If you’re looking for a less conventional way to get around, check out Pedal Perfection! We have many stories we can tell you about these multiple-passenger bikes and surreys. Like the time when 8 of us happily embarrassed ourselves on an hour long ride around the bay. We definitely recommend it!

We will provide a casual dinner and snacks after the afternoon festivities are over. We still have to decide if we’re going to BBQ, get pizzas or a number of other ideas. In the evening, we hope to board a sunset cruise with Sleeping Bear Dunes Boat Cruises on Lake Michigan. Tickets will be available for less than $33 per person if you choose to join us. We are currently negotiating rates to get everyone the best deal possible. Since I “won” a ring instead of a sunset cruise on Nick’s infamous proposal scavenger hunt, we plan to make this the final chapter of Nick’s proposal, and our engagement!
