Please CALL Harbor Lights to make your reservations as soon as possible. We want everyone to be able to get a spot and the rooms/condos are now available (as of June 1st) to the public as well. Please tell them that you are part of the Randall-Schultz wedding party.

We hope that you will stay with us at Harbor Lights Resort. Your stay will be easy and beautiful because Harbor Lights is expecting you. Please visit their website for information and call them when you are ready to book - we have enough hotel rooms, suites and condos blocked off for our entire guest list for 2 night stays. Ask for Steve if you have any questions about the local area or the resort; he has been a HUGE help to us and we love him! If you are looking for other accommodations, or one night stays, here is an awesome site from the Frankfort-Elberta Chamber of Commerce. Some of the Inns and B&B’s look amazing!

We chose this area because of our love of Lake Michigan and luckily, there are many available beaches close by! You can visit the Township of Arcadia Beach, the Elberta Public Beach, or the Frankfort Beach and the Lighthouse which are located right outside your door at Harbor Lights Resort. Further up the coast of Lake Michigan you can also visit the Point Betsie Lighthouse that just celebrated it’s 150th birthday. If you contine north along the shoreline, you will run into Sleeping bear National Lakeshore and Dunes. Now you are also right next door to wine country! We visited many of these wineries on our engagement weekend. We especially recommend L. Mawby, Shady Lane, and (my favorite person) Madonna’s parents’ vineyard, Ciccone.

There are many wonderful restaurants and pubs in the Arcadia, Elberta and Frankfort areas. Some favorites of ours are Arcadia Bluffs, The Big Apple (Arcadia), The Cabbage Shed (Elberta), Conundrum Cafe (Elberta), Mayfaire Tavern (Elberta), The Fusion (Frankfort), Tali (Frankfort), Dinghy’s Restaurant (Frankfort), Coho Cafe (Frankfort), Betsie Bay Inn (Frankfort), The Cherry Hut (Benzonia), and others - just ask us, we have so many favorites!

These 3 towns also have many shops that offer great browsing and unique products. Great examples are The Lily Pad Gift Shoppe and ice cream parlor (Arcadia), The Trick Dog (Elberta), Northern Lights & Lifestyles, LTD (Frankfort), Bookstore LTD (Frankfort), Kilwins (Frankfort), the AMAZING Frankfort Farmers Market on Saturdays, The Cool Spot ice cream parlor (Frankfort) and tons of others - again, ask us!

In addition to all of these wonderful ideas, there are more attractions to check out while in the area: Gravity Hill, Charter Fishing, Kayak and boat rentals, Pedal Perfection, Golf, Crystal Lake Art Center, The Cherry Bowl Drive In Theater and plenty more to explore!
